Ik heb m'n iPhone 12 Pro Max nu drie weken en ik blijf me maar verwonderen over de kwaliteit van de camera. Vooral de nachtmodus blijft me verbazen. Op een maanloze nacht heb ik de sterrenhemel kunnen fotograferen, gewoon uit de hand, echt ongelofelijk. (met nachtmodus handmatig op 10s gezet) De "ultra wide" lens (0.5x zoom) is zeeg geschikt voor dramatische landschapsfoto's met mooie wolkpartijen. Met de "telephoto" lens (kies 2.5x zoom) kan je ook zeer mooie marco opnames maken met een op DSLR's lijkend gebrek aan scherpte diepte en een mooi bokeh. Het zijn echt 3 fantastisch camera's. Het grotere formaat, de grootste iPhone tot nu toe, maakt dat ik minder behoefte heb aan mijn iPad om bijvoorbeeld naar kaart gegevens te kijken en nieuws artikelen (NOS App, NRC App en de Guardian App) te lezen. Maar soms is hij ook wel wat onhandig groot, past bijvoorbeeld soms niet goed in je broekzak. Dus, om met de woorden van onze Cruijff te spreken: "Elk voordeel heb ook z'n nadeel", (of andersom) maar het voordeel van een grotere iPhone is wel groter dan het nadeel...

Let erop dat als je voor deze telefoon kiest dat je zeker weet dat je de grote versie wilt. Ga voor de zekerheid eerst bij een winkel kijken of je hem niet te groot vind. Ik heb er een klein beetje spijt van namelijk. Maar goed wie zich brand moet op de blaren zitten.
