I really liked the camera, specifically the night mode and astrophotography. Pixel is sort of the best in this part, the digital processing is just mind blowing! The phone doesn't lag much for my work, but it surely miss the neural chip. The user experience is great. The phone sometimes get a bit warm after an hour of video call.

I immediately installed Calyx OS on the Pixel 5 and I am getting phenomenal battery life on it. I bought the phone used for 490Euros and used it without a custom ROM to make sure everything is okay. It was fine so I installed Calyx OS on it, and now it has 3 day to sometimes 5 day battery life on minimal usage. I use my phone for mobile banking, Google Maps, Podcast, browsing and some youtube, email and calls. I purchased a 40 Euro Type-C wired earphone for it, it's large and doesn't auto-switch to earphone when you connect it in the middle of a call. Overall happy with the purchase so far.

Pixel 5 has compact size compared to today's Android devices. Photos are really good even in 2023. This phone doesn't have huge megapixels of lenses but Google is doing great on photography side with software. I'm always happy with the end result. Can't say the same for video quality. It's just enough. Not a flagship level but mostly happy with 4K videos.

I bought this phone because I wanted a compact phone with a good camera. And this has exceeded my expectations. I'm not a gamer so I am not too bothered by the weak processor. The great battery life is a bonus. I would recommend this phone.
